Story
The basis of a television documentary based on the reminiscences of eyewitnesses and participants, their descendants who survived the events of late summer, 1941 in Odessa, using archival documentary chronicles, with footage from the film "Thirst." Scouts special detachment was tasked at any cost, even for a few hours, to give water to the city. And although everyone knew that the chances to stay alive almost no - one and all, went on a mission. According to the plan, they had to come to the station and run pumps. They coped. Water went to Odessa, but at the cost of death of ten people. Then, in 1941, command decided that killed the entire squad, and family members were sent to the job funerals. Commanded a detachment Gregory Pozhenyan (Hero of the Soviet Union, twice winner of the State Prize of Russia), which is also considered dead. In Odessa, Pasteur Street, on the wall of a building which housed Sabotage Detachment, a memorial plaque on which the names of the dead mistakenly hence its name.
